He began his career with Joseph Gauchard before joining his son, Francis, as a painter.

He contributed to the music of Charsonville, playing the drum, and held several mandates with the Charsonville town hall as a municipal councillor.

His commitment to the community was remarkable, even after he was retired.

He remained active with activities such as walking, pétanque where he was in charge of that section, tennis and golf.

Always busy, he continued to invest himself in his passion for community life.
